MAXIMUM TEMP RECORDED AT 18.4 DEGREES CELSIUS AGAINST A NORMAL OF 22.9 DEGREES CELSIUS
LUDHIANA: Showers for the second straight day brought the mercury further down in the city, officials said.
Between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon, the city recorded 11.2mm rainfall.
Light showers continued in parts of the city post that as well. The measurements for these were yet to be released at the time of the filing of the story. On Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded 18.4 degrees Celsius against a normal of 22.9 degrees Celsius. On Thursday the maximum temperature had fallen by six degrees, 21.2 degrees Celsius against 27.4 degrees Celsius recorded on Wednesday.
