'Punj-Aab De Shah Aswaar': A powerful ode to sporting legacy of both Punjabs

Chronicling the sporting heroes of both 'Charhda' as well as 'Lehnda' Punjab, the Olympic field hockey doyens of Pakistan recently unveiled a literary masterpiece, 'Punj-Aab De Shah Aswaar', penned by Navdeep Singh Gill, an eminent sports writer at the University of Management and Technology in Lahore.

In the constructive and comprehensive deliberations held during the course of the book's release, on the invitation of the varsity's director and former player Abid Sherwani, great gems of Pakistani hockey such as Tauqeer Dar, Tahir Zaman, Rehan Butt, Ghulam Ghaus, and Muhammad Ijaz termed this literary masterclass as a giant step forward in promoting goodwill and disseminating information about players of both Punjabs.
