J&K DyCM blames LG for Vaishno Devi deaths

Jammu & Kashmir deputy chief minister Surinder Choudhary on Thursday blamed lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha and the chief executive officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine board for the death of 34 pilgrims, who were buried under a landslide along the route to the hill shrine.
The remark came a day after chief minister Omar Abdullah raised questions on allowing the pilgrims amid severe weather warnings.
