ED raids premises linked to Baghel's son, others

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday raided several premises in Chhattisgarh including that of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, in its money laundering probe related to irregularities in the state's liquor industry, people familiar with the development said.

The former CM is being investigated in the case. Officials said 14 locations were raided in the state to get evidence and question those involved, and that they have recovered around ₹30 lakh.
Enforcement directorate officials said Chaitanya Baghel allegedly received proceeds of crime in the liquor contracts.
"...out of the proceeds of crime worth ₹2,161 crore, Chaitanya Baghel was one of the recipients," said an officer, who asked not to be named.
They added that Chaitanya is likely to be summoned.
