BCCI Guidelines for Victory Celebrations Soon

In light of the Bengaluru stampede that took 11 lives during RCB's victory celebrations, BCCI's Apex Council met virtually on Saturday and decided to constitute a three-member committee to formulate guidelines on victory celebrations to prevent such incidents in the future.
MUMBAI:
The panel headed by secretary Devajit Saikia, with treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and vice-president Rajeev Shukla as members, will be tasked to come up with guidelines in 15 days.
T20 WC dress rehearsal
Venues for the T20I series against New Zealand in January — it will serve as the final dress rehearsal for the 2026 T20 World Cup India host with Sri Lanka — were finalised. Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram will host the five T20Is from January 21-31. It will be preceded by an ODI series from January 11-18 at Vadodara, Rajkot and Indore.
