CBI HAD ARRESTED SIX PEOPLE IN THE CASE. ONE OF THE CONVICTS DIED OF AN ILLNESS IN PRISON IN DEC '19
The special Pocso court held the five accused, identified as Jubair, Sajid, Dharmveer, Naresh, and Sunil, guilty under sections 395 (dacoity), 397 (robbery), 120B (criminal conspiracy), 342 (wrongful confinement), 376D (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 6 of the Protection of children from sexual
offences (Pocso) Act. The quantum of punishment will be announced on Monday.
