Home minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday said that the state government is not facing a financial crisis, a day after his remarks on lack of government funds sparked criticism from the Opposition and fuelled a political row.
BENGALURU: Home minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday said that the state government is not facing a financial crisis, a day after his remarks on lack of government funds sparked criticism from the Opposition and fuelled a political row.
While addressing the inauguration event of a new fire station building at Badami on Monday, Parameshwara said, "We don't have money, even Siddaramaiah doesn't have funds now. We've already given everything to the people in the form of rice, dal, and oil, yes even oil," in reference to the Congress government's guarantee schemes.
