A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a 40-year-old man from Hisar in Haryana for allegedly raping children and creating, uploading, browsing, collecting, and exchanging child sexual abuse material online, two of the victims, aged 11 and 13, recorded their statements with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in the district on Thursday, police officials said.

ROHTAK:

The accused is a disabled man who ran a Common Service Centre (CSC) in a village and had been exploiting the victims for the past five years, a senior police officer said requesting anonymity.

"Electronic gadgets recovered from him confirmed that he was involved in creating, storing, and sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The accused has exploited nearly 10 girls and a few women," the official said.

The accused was sent to judicial custody by a Hisar court on Wednesday.
