LONDON: Police have recovered the body of a woman, believed to be of a 22-year-old Indian student who went missing earlier this month, from a river in Scotland, officials said.

Police Scotland said that the body, believed to be of Santra Saju from Kerala, was found in a river near Newbridge. According to a statement released by police over the weekend, Saju's family has been informed and formal identification has yet to take place.
