Autopsy of MP rape victim reveals brutal injuries

BHOPAL: A post-mortem examination of a gang rape victim in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh has confirmed that she died due to excessive bleeding after the brutal injuries sustained during the rape, officials said on Monday.
The extent of the injuries was such that the internal organs of the 45-year-old woman were damaged, the officials said citing the post-mortem examination report which they received on Monday.
"The post-mortem said the cause of her death was loss of blood due to internal injuries," Khandwa superintendent of police Manoj Rai said.
