10 More People Held in Jan 30 Kalaburagi Murder Case: Police

Ten people were arrested for allegedly killing a 28-year-old man in Kalaburagi district on January 30, police said, adding that 15 have been arrested so far.

Kalaburagi SP Addur Srinivasulu said that the incident dates to January 30 when the victim, Rahul Khajuri (28), resident of Khajuri village of Aland taluk, received a call from his alleged lover, Bhagyavanti Hariprasad Chittampalle, asking him to come to her house in Anoor village of Aland taluk as her family was reportedly away. "However, the situation turned grim when her brother, Prithviraj Hariprasad Chittampalle, walked in unexpectedly, caught the two together and killed Rahul in anger," he said.
