Looking forward to the best of everything as Gulls begin again
TODAY, at 1pm, the fixtures for the National League South season are released - and in the words of Torquay United manager Paul Wotton: "That's when it gets real!
While Paul wants a home start but says he won't be "gutted" if we're away on August 9, I for one will be... I want to go to Plainmoor on the first day of the season and watch the Gulls thrash whoever the visitors are eight or nine nil.
I want silky skills and fast-slowing football with goals to break the internet and become memes that get hits in the billions.
I want a full house, with fans crying in Boots & Laces because they couldn't get in. I want a Popside that could out sing Glastonbury and drumming to beat John Bonham or Dave Grohl.
