Loan star seals Barnsley switch

Hartlepool United loan star Reyes Cleary has signed for League One side Barnsley, penning a three-year deal at Oakwell.

The 21-year-old, who scored six goals and provided seven assists in 20 matches during a blistering loan spell at Victoria Park last season, was offered a new contract by parent club West Brom in May.
Cleary is regarded as one of the finest loan signings seen at Victoria Park in recent memory, catching the eye with his pace, power, determination and positive attitude. While more optimistic Pools fans might have hoped to see him back in the North East again next season, a Football League move always seemed likely.
