Sheikh Mohamed pilots helicopter over UAE skies

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally piloted a helicopter over several regions of the United Arab Emirates, surveying key development projects and strategic areas across the country.
The aerial journey reflects Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed’s hands-on leadership style and commitment to staying closely informed about the progress of national infrastructure, environmental efforts, and urban expansion.
During the flight, Sheikh Mohamed observed major ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for citizens and residents, reaffirming the UAE's forward-looking vision and dedication to sustainable development.
This tour comes as part of the leadership's proactive approach to governance, where top officials stay connected to developments on the ground and reinforce their dedication to national progress and innovation.
Every now and then, , Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed demonstrates his flying skills.
He has an experience in flying the Gazelle helicopter armour and fleet.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was educated at schools in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi until the age of 18.
In 1979, he joined the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he trained in armour, helicopter flying, tactical flying and paratrooping.
