PTI's Dasti disqualified over fake academic credentials

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday disqualified member of the National Assembly Jamshed Dasti, belonging to the PTI, for possessing the fake educational certificate.
A three-member ECP bench headed by the member from Sindh Nisar Durrani heard the reference sent to the electoral body by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq against Dasti for having fake academic certificates. Another petition heard by the bench pertained to the assets beyond means filed by one Ameer Akbar.
