Nurturing kids' potential is UAE priority: President

The UAE leaders on Saturday extended their wishes on the occasion of Emirati Children's Day, which is celebrated on March 15 every year.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, took to his X platform to mark the occasion.

“Nurturing the development of our children and enabling their potential are priorities of the UAE in our collective efforts to empower youth into the future," wrote Sheikh Mohamed on X.

“On Emirati Children’s Day, we reaffirm our shared commitment as a community and nation to protecting the rights of children and ensuring they remain central to our vision of progress and prosperity for all,” he concluded.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said in a tweet on the X platform, “Within every child lies a seed... a seed of dreams, achievements, and immense potential... This seed can either grow into a lush, fruitful, and giving tree, or it can wither and fade away at its inception due to neglect and poor care.

“Our children today are the men and women who will carry, protect, and build the future of our nation. Our future is contingent upon our attention to the seed of great potential that every child in our country holds,” said Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid.
