Dom Art Projects launch expands the cultural infrastructure in Dubai

Dubai's cultural landscape has picked up momentum with the opening of a new private art institution, Dom Art Projects, on November 27, in Al Khayat Avenue, a growing hub in the Al Quoz Creative Zone.

Marking a significant addition to Dubai's expanding creative economy and its commitment to nurturing independent, community-driven cultural initiatives, the institution is a contemporary art space that connects artists and audiences who share a love for art and culture. The new space serves as a 'home' or 'dom' - for the culturally committed or the merely curious, fostering dialogue and nurturing a sense of belonging in the UAE. Founded by Alisa Bagdonaite and Anna Pumpyanskaya, Dom Art Projects is dedicated to presenting museum-grade exhibitions and installations, by emerging and mid-career artists.

The institution offers a residency programme with three dedicated studios, and features a year-round educational programme with artist-led workshops, guided tours and talks. It also plans to launch a publishing arm and a bookshop dedicated to art and culture.
