Court orders woman to pay Dhs10,900 in car rental case

A woman rented a vehicle from a car rental company on a fixed-term contract, but her failure to pay the full amount due after the contract expired led to a dispute in court.
She was ordered to pay Dhs10,900 to the car rental company after it was proved that she had breached the rent agreement, failed to pay the rent, and caused damage to the vehicle during the period of use.
The details of the case date back to earlier when a woman entered into a vehicle rent agreement with a car rental company, starting in April 2024 for a full year, on condition that she must pay the agreed rent of Dhs3,000 per month, according to the Civil Court documents.
