Court annuls sale contract of vehicle, orders refund

The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, and Administrative Claims Court has ordered a man to refund Dhs390,000 and Dhs50,000 in compensation to another man.
The defendant had advertised a vehicle for sale on a social media platform, claiming it was in good condition with no defects or malfunctions. The plaintiff purchased and registered the vehicle but later experienced a breakdown and agency refused to repair it, citing a flood damage report on the car.
The plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the seller, requesting the annulment of the sales contract, a refund of Dhs390,000 with a 5% legal interest from the date of the claim until full payment, and Dhs100,000 in compensation for material and moral damage.
