GOLDEN VISA RECIPIENT VAISHNAV DESCRIBED AS A 'TYCOON IN THE MAKING' WHO DREAMED OF HAVING A DUBAI METRO STATION AFTER HIM
Tributes poured in yesterday for Vaishnav Krishnakumar, the 18-year-old student whose sudden death during a Diwali celebration in Dubai on Tuesday night, left family, friends and teachers heartbroken.
The name of the young recipient of the golden visa is trending across social media platforms, with hundreds sharing memories and condolences.
Described as a “tycoon in the making” during his school graduation ceremony, Vaishnav was remembered for his ambition to become a visionary social entrepreneur and his dream of having a Dubai Metro station named after him one day.
Vaishnav's uncle, Nidheesh S Nair, said Vaishnav had become a role model within the community. “He was the type of boy that everyone wished they had as a son. Everyone looked up to him as a role model,” he said.
GEMS Our Own Indian School, where Vaishnav studied for 14 years, and Middlesex University, where he had recently joined as a BBA Marketing student, both paid tributes to the outstanding student.
