New portal for Indians to apply for e-passport

Indian expats can now apply for chip-embedded e-passports through a new online portal announced by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Effective today, all applicants will have to use the new online portal — htt ps://mportal.passportindia. gov.in/gpsp/AuthNaviga tion/Login — for all passport-related services.
The Indian consulate also made the same announcement for applicants in Dubai and the northern emirates.
