Kalimat in new push to spur reading culture

New titles, Did You Know?, Fasten Your Seatbelt aimed at exciting young readers

Sharjah-based publisher Kalimat Group has launched a series of initiatives to boost the culture of reading, including new book releases, partnerships, and author-led sessions.

The announcements were made during a ceremony at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF 2025), where Shaikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Founder and CEO of Kalimat Group, held a book signing for her new title, The House of Wisdom. The book recently won the Sharjah Children's Book Award and the BolognaRaga-zzi Award 2025.
