Endowment district to boost housing, education and health

The Mohammad Bin Rashid Endowment District will integrate modern housing alongside commercial, health care and education facilities in an area spanning two million square feet.

Launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the region's first endowment district is part of the strategic investments by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), with support from Azizi Developments.

Dh330m from investors

The district is being built at an investment of Dh4.7 billion, of which Dh330 million has been contributed by a group of investors. Returns from its residential, health care and educational facilities will ensure the sustainability of philanthropic efforts.

Shaikh Mohammad was apprised about key details, plans, and facilities related to the project. He said: "Our aim is for it to serve as an urban model that embodies our vision of endowments as a tool that multiplies the value of giving and leaves a lasting impact on people's lives.
