Airline turns to a raft of new tech to outsmart in-flight turbulence
Emirates said it was integrating new, artificial intelligence-driven forecasting tools and real-time data-sharing systems to significantly reduce unexpected bouts of severe turbulence across its network.
Turbulence incidents have increased globally due to changing weather patterns. In response, Emirates implemented a multilayered data strategy that combines information from several advanced platforms to predict and avoid turbulent zones more accurately.
