PAIR £500-£600 OUT OF POCKET EACH
A MUCH-needed holiday for two friends from the Waltham area has turned into a bitter disappointment amid problems with a prominent Cleethorpes coach tours operator.
Pauline Campbell, 78, and Jayne Horner, 67, were supposed to travel with Hough's of Lincolnshire to a hotel in Wales for a week’s stay beginning December 8.
But having been alerted by her brother-in-law to potential issues at Hough's, Pauline tried contact the hotel company who she says had no knowledge of the booking.
She tried to get in touch with Hough’s but heard nothing.
The pair, who have been friends for nearly 40 years, are now between £500-£600 out-of-pocket, each.
