SKIPPER BELIEVES TOWN'S SQUAD DEPTH CAN BE AN ADVANTAGE AS THE SEASON PROGRESSES
As he makes his return to full fitness, Danny Rose acknowledged the increased competition for starting spots at Grimsby Town this season, enforced by the summer arrivals.
From an individual standpoint, Rose has endured a frustrating start to the campaign, having been ever-present for the Mariners in his first two seasons at the club.
An ongoing plantar fasciitis issue from preseason has stopped the 31-year-old from making a proper return to action, dipping in and out of David Artell's matchday squads.
Summer signing Jaze Kabia has led the line excellently in his absence as the club's top scorer so far this term, which has meant that Rose has not had to be rushed back.
