Artell piles on the praise for Grimsby's outstanding stars
Grimsby Telegraph
|May 03, 2025
DAVID Artell praised Grimsby Town's in-house award winners and League Two Team of the Season inductee, who were recognised for a great individual season.
George McEachran and Evan Khouri won the Player and Young Player of the Season awards at Town, respectively, while Denver Hume was selected in the official League Two Team of the Season.
On McEachran, Artell highlighted his attitude towards all aspects of the game, which has stood out as much as his technical qualities, and what has ultimately won him the acclaim as the fans voted him their top performer.
"How he has conducted himself is a big part of it," said Artell. "We all know he has got exceptional technical ability, but his ability to win the ball back and tenacity have also been impressive.
"The fact that he has been available for almost every training session this season says all you need to know about him.
"We've been good for him as much as he's been good for us, and the award was an excellent justification for him personally.
