Clapham Court New bid to get rid of tower block

The 11-storey Clapham Court in Alvin Street has long been past its sell-by date and the aim is to build in its place a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes plus parking, along with a new pharmacy and play area.

Owner Gloucester City Homes is inviting members of the public to have a say before a planning application is submitted to Gloucester City Council. The consultation will take place at Clapham Court in Alvin Street, on Tuesday July 15, between 3pm and 7pm.
