Cemetery Mourners upset as dogs allowed to foul on graves

DOGS have been fouling graves in a Gloucester cemetery, prompting the council to tell dog owners to be 'respectful' when walking their pets in the grounds as mess on the graves is causing upset to those who have loved ones buried at the Tredworth Road Cemetery.
Gloucester City Council said there are going to be increased patrols in the cemetery following the reports of dogs fouling on graves.
Owners are being reminded they can be fined for not picking up mess, and while dogs are on the cemetery grounds, they are to remain on a lead.
It said on Facebook: "Sadly, some dog owners visiting the cemetery have allowed their dogs to foul on graves without picking it up.
