Glamorgan Gazette
|July 10, 2025
A CHILD had to be rescued from the sea at a popular beach after being caught in a rip tide.
Three children in total had to be helped to safety from the water at Aberavon Beach on Sunday.
It was the third call-out for Port Talbot Coastguard in the space of a few hours.
When they arrived at the beach they saw one of the three children had been caught up in a rip current while the other two were calling for help.
