Pacaltsdorp kry hupstoot met herstellende boerderyopleiding

Ranyaka-gemeenskapsontwikkeling het onlangs deur die Nedbank Proud of My Town (PoMT)-program 'n tweedaagse opleiding in herstellende boerdery in Pacaltsdorp aangebied.

Die program, aangebied in vennootskap met die Green Gardens Foundation en die Pacaltsdorp Community Business Association (PCBA), het daarop gemik om plaaslike voedselproduksie te versterk, sopkombuise te ondersteun en voedselverbouingsprojekte by 'n nabygeleë vroeëkinderontwikkelingsentrum te begin.
Die inisiatief het ook aangesluit by 16 Dae van Aktivisme en het praktiese leeren leierskapsgeleenthede vir plaaslike jongmense en inwoners geskep. Voor die opleiding het Nedbank ook noodsaaklike toerusting geskenk om praktiese demonstrasies moontlik te maak.
