With a record club attendance at such an AGM, SWD Cricket's president, Michael Eksteen, highlighted various successes for the period under review.
Although the two flagship teams, the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers men's professional and women's professional teams, both underperformed, various successes were reported.
The notable achievements were:
• Jezé Campher (Môrester Senior Secondary School) received the award as batter and all-rounder of the tournament in the gold section of the CSA Girls' U16 national tournament in Johannesburg in December.
• Mariana Breedt (Outeniqua High School) and Emmy-Kay Samson (Oudtshoorn School of Skills) were selected for the SA Schools Fillies Girls' U19 team upon conclusion of the CSA Girls' U19 national tournament in Durban in December.
• Enathi Kitshini (Thembalethu Hub), Shirwin Plaatjies (Bridgton Hub) and Keano Coerecius (Bridgton Hub) were selected for the SA Hub team that participated in the Schools SA20 knockout competition.
