Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today laid the foundation stone for the construction of new houses for families affected due to unprovoked Pakistani shelling during Operation Sindoor and other damages reported in Rajouri.
A total of 388 houses in Rajouri that were completely damaged will be reconstructed free of cost with the support of High-Range Rural Development Society (HRDS India) The Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Government of India, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, towards the complete rehabilitation of affected families and improving the quality of life of every resident of Poonch and Rajouri The Lt Governor highlighted that earlier the government had provided ex-gratia relief and employment to the Next of Kins (NoKs) of deceased persons a
