Jasprit Bumrah joins Mumbai Indians ahead of RCB clash

Mumbai Indians (MI) ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has rejoined the squad ahead of their upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after receiving medical clearance from the BCCI’s medical team.

Bumrah’s return comes after recovering at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, where he had been undergoing rehabilitation since January due to a stress-related discomfort in his lower back.
He will now work closely with MI’s support staff, headed by Mahela Jayawardene, to chart out a comeback plan.
The last update on Bumrah, dated April 3, indicated that MI would assess his RCB game, with his return dependent on the final round of fitness tests.
