There were some remarkable results this week as the spate of low scoring proves testament to the condition of the course.
-
The RAFA Trophy saw 126 men compete and Division Three went to Stephen Collinson with a fine nett 64. Mario Rolli was second on 69, with Lewis Gumbleton a shot back in third after countback with Eric Jordan.
Trevor Messenger won Division Two with 67, after countback from Simon Grant, Brian Smith and Steve Cox.
Rob Edney claimed Division One with 66, but only after another countback from Ben Cox with David Jukes third on 67.
The overall winner, returning to form in a big way after a string of poor scores, was Robert Ware with an amazing nett 61. The Gross Prize went to Stuart Ponfield with a two-under-par 69, with Phil Leadbeater second with 74.
