The Met Gala 2025, held on Tuesday at New York's iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art, turned into an extraordinary celebration of fashion, heritage, and global glam. This year's theme, Tailored For You, aligned with the Costume Institute's exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, encouraging personal flair through the lens of menswear and suiting.
While global icons dazzled the blue carpet, it was the Indian stars who made headlines with their impactful debuts and statement looks. Leading the Indian contingent was Shah Rukh Khan, who made history as the first Indian male actor to walk the Met Gala carpet. Dressed in a regal black suit with gold accessories and a long pendant bearing a "K" for King Khan, he was styled by none other than Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who also walked beside him in a rare designer-artist joint appearance.
