The inaugural edition of the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025) concluded on Sunday after four dynamic days of rich dialogue, visionary ideas, cultural showcases, and landmark announcements. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit brought together some of the brightest minds, creative talents, and global stakeholders from across the media and entertainment ecosystem.

On day 1 Prime Minister Modi's Vision Sets the Tone by opening the summit, Prime Minister Modi emphasized India's growing influence in the global media landscape and urged for a collaborative push to position Indian cinema and storytelling on the world stage. His address inspired an atmosphere of innovation and pride, setting the groundwork for in-depth discussions and strategic collaborations throughout the event.

Day 2 witnessed a compelling keynote by Nita Ambani, Chairperson of JioStar, where she spoke about empowering creators, women in entertainment, and the role of digital transformation in democratising content. Bollywood's brightest—Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Saif Ali Khan—were also present, lending glamour and gravitas to the day.
