An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner (VT-ANB), operating from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick airport, crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Thursday afternoon, with 242 people on board, including 2 pilots and 10 cabin crew members, DGCA said. As many as 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian national were on board.
One person has miraculously survived, while 241 of his co-passengers are feared dead, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik confirmed. The flight was heavily fueled
