JDA preparing to favour preferred contractor via single tender in one case while begins probe in another
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is facing serious allegations of attempting to benefit a favoured contractor at the cost of the public exchequer.
In a case involving the construction of a drain from Goner to the Ring Road under JDA Zone 10, the authority is reportedly preparing to award a contract worth Rs 28 crore at an inflated cost of nearly Rs 40 crore through a single tender, ignoring the rules laid down by the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement (RTPP) Act.
