HOW PM MODI'S FOREIGN POLICY HELPED INDIA
First India Jaipur
|May 14, 2025
Even as tension between India and Pakistan grew, Islamabad found itself to be isolated when most Muslim nations refused to openly support Pakistan.
And in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, when Pakistan had accused New Delhi of violating Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and the country had hoped that Muslim countries would back it, out of more than fifty plus Islamic nations globally, only Turkey and Azerbaijan openly stood with Pakistan and the rest had adopted a... moderate stance!
However, geo-political experts feel that the world in general and the Islamic countries have now realised that Pakistan is not willing to resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue but instead uses terrorism to carry out attacks like Pahalgam. Also, the Prime Minister's relentless pursuit in strengthening its foreign policy in these 10 long years has yielded results when it was actually needed.
Pakistan's support for terror groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammed has tainted its image and has made irreparable loss for the country which was seen during the time of crisis. Let's look at the initiation of PM Modi's foreign policy, the tenets and the launch initiatives which have yielded results following the long-standing pursuit in creating a global goodwill. PM Modi's foreign policy also known as the Modi Doctrine was meticulously planned with policy initiatives made towards other states ever since PM Modi took over as the prime minister on May 26, 2014.
