BIG LEAP!

Jaipur's eagerly awaited Phase 2 of the Metro project is now one step closer to reality, with the full route, station locations, and corridor layout finally coming to light.

The project promises to reshape urban connectivity and provide a transformative commuting experience for Jaipur residents.

The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Phase 2 has been officially submitted to the Central Government after receiving approval from the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma. The Urban Development Department has forwarded the proposal to the Government of India for final clearance.

The Phase 2 corridor of Jaipur Metro will stretch from Ring Road at Prahladpura to Todi Mod via Harmada Ghat, spanning a total length of 42.8 kilometres. Of this, the main metro line will run 39.961 kilometres from Prahladpura to Harmada Ghat, with a total of 35 stations along the route. An additional 2+ kilometre spur will connect the Government Hostel station to Chandpole Metro Station from Phase 1, where the 36th station will be constructed as an elevated interchange hub.
