Company to continue to lag behind peers’ growth in FY25

IN A SURPRISE, Thierry Delaporte tendered his resignation from CEO at Wipro on April 6th. He was replaced by Srinivas Pallia, who previously served as CEO of the Americas 1 business unit within Wipro, will assume the role of CEO.
Resignation timing is surprising The outgoing CEO's sudden resignation before the end of his five-year tenure in June 2025 was surprising. Thierry will be with Wipro until May 31 to ensure a smooth transition to the incoming CEO.
AWipro veteran...Wipro has announced the appointment of Srinivas Pallia, its new CEO, from April 7, pending holder share and regulatory approvals, for a five-year term. Srini, who has been with Wipro since 1992, has held various leadership positions, including President of Wipro's Consumer Business Unit and Global Head of Business Application Services.
Notably, the most recently served as CEO for Americas 1,Wipro's largest expanding market, where he led a wide range of industry sectors.
