AVENUE SUPERMARTS, WHICH runs DMart stores, posted a 9% decline in its consolidated net profit at ₹623 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year, as higher margin merchandise contributed lesser to its margins

DMart profit falls 9% in Q2

It posted a net profit of ₹686 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. PAT margin stood at 4.9% in Q2FY24 as compared to 6.4% in Q2FY23.
