THE GOVERNMENT IS planning to develop a one-stop resource centre for job seekers under the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS) to enhance youth employability. The initiative aims to support interns "throughout their journey" by enabling collaboration between academia, corporate entities, and the government sector.
The ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) has invited expression of interest (EoI) to identify an agency to develop the platform.
According to the MCA document, the selected agency will design training programmes to make interns employment-ready and facilitate counselling sessions throughout the internship lifecycle — from registration to completion.
