Kinetic Green gets notice over e-rickshaws

PUNE-BASED FIRODIA group company Kinetic Green has been served a show-cause notice by the Maharashtra government for failing to commence supplies of electric rickshaws under a tender it won more than six months ago.
The electric Luna maker had committed to supply 10,000 pink coloured e-rickshaws to the Maharashtra government as part of the state's entrepreneurship development programme to empower women. While the tender stated that the supplies of all the 10,000 e-rickshaws must be completed within a period of 180 days from the date of the contract, which was October 15, 2024, Kinetic Green is yet to deliver even a single such rickshaw.
