VAIBHAV TANEJA, TESLA'S Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and an Indian-origin executive, has been named the treasurer of 'The America Party', a new political party launched by Elon Musk. Taneja's appointment was confirmed in a filing with the US Federal Election Commission (FEC) on July 4, 2025.
Billionaire Elon Musk formed the party earlier this month in response to US President Donald Trump's leadership and his controversial tax and spending bill that is now an Act. Musk claims the party stands for free speech, innovation, and less government interference.
