IT'S "DANGEROUS" FOR the US and Russia to discuss the war in Ukraine without representatives from Kyiv, an aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said.
-
Top US and Russian officials are due to hold talks on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia, following last week's phone call between presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin on finding ways to resolve the war.
Ukraine wasn't invited, which "makes the situation dangerous" because talks "should be held first with Ukraine to hear our position," Ihor Brusylo, deputy chief of Zelenskiy's office, said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Monday. "The main thing is to avoid this backdoor, backdealing. It doesn't help the situation."
