RIL, Axis key bidders for coal blocks

RELIANCE INDUSTRIES (RIL) and Axis Energy Ventures India have emerged as top bidders for the Centre’s latest round of coal block auctions, aimed at boosting domestic coal gasification and cleaner energy production.
According to bid participant details released following the opening of technical bids, Axis Energy and RIL jointly participated in bids for a large number of coal blocks across multiple states, underscoring their strong strategic interest in coal gasification and downstream value-added applications.
