India's gaming story is intact beyond RMG

The ban on real money gaming (RMG) has dealt a heavy blow to companies that depended on it for over 80% of sector revenues.
Yet, the larger gaming story is far from over. With India's gamer base set to rise from 600 million to nearly a billion by 2029, opportunities in casual, social, and ad-driven gaming still exist. Sandeep Murthy, managing partner at venture capital firm Lightbox, tells Anees Hussain why the ban will hurt in the short term but why the fundamentals of India's gaming sector remain strong.
