Volume Growth May Be Impacted in Near Term
-
BRITANNIA INDUSTRIES reported consolidated revenue growth of 9% y-o-y in Q4FY25, in line with our estimates, driven largely by mid-single-digit volume growth. However, profitability saw a y-o-y contraction of 119bps, which was better than anticipated. On a sequential basis, gross margin expanded by 137bps q-o-q, supported by calibrated price hikes taken in Q3 and Q4 and easing prices of a few commodities. We expect Britannia to take further price hikes/grammage reduction in Q1FY26 to mitigate inflation.
